In 1986 Brighton Museum and Art Gallery purchased a collection of Art Nouveau jewellery from Charles and Barbara Robertson. The jewellery includes a number of fascinating individual pieces from several countries.

This silver pendant shows a female head wearing helmet designed as a peacock. It was made in the United States of America around 1900.

This silvered metal pin is surmounted by twin wings decorated with plique-a-jour enamel in grey and lilac. They surround a central purple cabochon. The pin was designed by Heinrich Levinger in Germany around 1910.

This oval pendant in pate-de-verre is moulded with an insect. It was designed by Walter V Almeric and Henri Berge in France around 1920.
