Construction of Craven Vale Estate, Brighton, 1952

Craven Vale Estate is situated to the east of Queen's Park, and just west of Whitehawk. The estate was constructed in the early 1950s to meet the need for post-war housing. Before this time, the land had been used for private allotments.
