'George and the Dragon' was commissioned by Brighton Museum for the Performance Gallery. The costume was worn in the May children's parade in Brighton in 2001. It originated in a Carnival Club initiative to prepare costumes for the Notting Hill Carnival and involved workshops in Brighton which shared some of the skills of costume making with local children.
