  Glazed China and Porcelain

Glazed China Doll
Pudding doll

These dolls were made using a clay mixture that was poured or pressed into plaster moulds of 2 or 3 different sections. This was given 3 separate firings and 2 layers of paint and glaze. They have moulded hairstyles that followed the fashions of the time.
